Tae Bo. I know, I went old school. I wanted to report back with something more interesting than “I went for a run today!” However, my options were somewhat limited being a Sunday Holiday. ((Happy New Year!)) I own a few random work out videos, but none of which seemed quite good enough for ::drumroll:: Day One. So after scouring the internet for a while I came across Tae Bo Cardio.
But not before finding this beauty:
I know right!? I especially love the legwarmers and 80s hair! Oh, and don’t forget the sole, creepy guy in the back! But who knows, maybe “Pump It Up” will make it to one of my 30 days….I’ll even wear a high, side pony for effect! 🙂
Obvious choice: Tae Bo it was. It felt good to work out again. Although, I think Tae Bo was easier when I was in high school. =/ I was particularly bad at the “knee, knee, jab, jab, jab, cross” combo. We will see how my legs feel tomorrow; but, I got through it and it was fun. So thank you Billy Blanks for Day One.
Additionally, I pledged to do the 100 day Burpee challenge….did I mention I HATE burpees? Likely more than I hate weight lifting! So what makes me think I could, much less would want to, do 100 burpees!? I don’t know, perhaps the fact that I only had to do one today? Or maybe that I only reallllllly have to make it through the first 30 days [right!?]. 🙂
So here’s to day one. Success. Looking forward to day two…
