Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my sissy’s birthday! She lives in Carbondale so I had to celebrate without her. So I made this cupcake in her honor! 🙂 Happy Birthday Al!

I made a chocolate fudge cupcake and then cored it with an apple corer like this:

I filled the hole with ice cream (cake and ice cream, anyone?):

Then I iced them with creamy vanilla icing and topped with sprinkles:

And then obviously….ENJOY! 🙂

My BFF and so much more…

My first card went to my dearest Allie Schmallie. She is the most amazing person I know! She is my best friend, my hero, my support, my seesta, and so much more. I love this girl with all my heart and soul. We’ve been through everything together and I couldn’t ever imagine having a different person by my side. Words to describe my sister? Creative. Caring. Sweet. Funny. Unique. Cute. Smart. Strong. Loyal. Understanding. Stubborn. Passionate. Fun. Hands down, she’s the best sister in the world and I’m sooo thankful (but feel sorry for the rest of you) that she is mine. Plus, she’s one of the only people I know who can pull off dreads! ((I hate her for that. She could make a plastic bag look cute…))

Wanna hear a funny, sister story about Al and I? When we were little, I was probably 8 or 9, she was 4 or 5, she would follow me around everywhere. Everything I did, she did; everywhere I went, she went. And she would just talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk…literally. Ceaseless chatter. So, being the nice sister that I was, I let her in on a little secret, “Allie, you shouldn’t talk so much. Your body only has a certain amount of air in it; and when it runs out, you die.” She did not talk for 2 days straight, I kid you not. Bahaha. Success! Until my dad finally got it out of her…oops. 🙂 I was a smart little kid!!

This girl got two cards because I needed her to know how much she means to me. Hope they made you smile. 🙂

Sister love ❤
